Abstract:

The significance of writing quality has been sufficiently emphasized because it is closely related to the readability of academic publications. However, it is often ignored that figures are often better means to efficiently and effectively deliver complex ideas to readers. This talk serves as a hands-on guide for researchers to effectively sort out the logical relationship among their ideas, and convert the ideas into comprehensible figures. We shall also cover the introduction to pragmatic tools and techniques that are helpful to compose premium-quality figures. In addition, the integration of figures and texts will be explained, so as to enhance the overall presentation quality of academic publications.
