Check List for Preparing ISAAC'00 Camera-Ready Version



The proceedings of ISAAC'00 will be published by Springer-Verlag as a Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) volume. Please follow the instructions below in order for your paper to be included in the proceedings.
A.
Format the final version your paper within 12 pages using macros (TeX, LaTeX or WORD) provided by Springer-Verlag. Formatting in LaTeX2e is strongly encouraged. The author guide and all needed macros are located at the web pages

Macros available: LaTeX2e, LaTeX209, TeX, and WORD.


B.
Send the following materials to 
               ISAAC 2000

All materials should be received by August 14, 2000. This is a firm deadline.
  1. A single-sided printout (not a photocopy) of your final version:
    • within 12 pages; extra pages with a maximum of two additional pages can be bought at a cost of US$200.00 a page. Payment in credit card only must be sent with the printout. Please send credit card type (either VISA or Master card), number, card holder name and expiration date. See registration form for details.
    • single-sided on 8.5x11-inch papers showing no printed page numbers; (If letter size is not available to you, then A4 is also acceptable.)
    • indicating the total number of pages in pencil at the bottom of the reverse side of the first sheet, and the ordering of your pages by numbering the sheets in pencil at the bottom of the reverse side;
    • not setting running heads.
  2. A hard copy of the completed and signed copyright form. In the field "Conference/Book", please write "ISAAC 2000". In the field "Volume Editor(s)", please write "D. T. Lee and Shang-Hua Teng".
  3. For each accepted paper, one of the authors must complete the registration procedure and fill in the speaker form. (We will notify the corresponding authors as soon as the registration form is online.) It is expected that each accepted paper will be presented in the conference.
  4. As also required by Springer-Verlag, the following source files of each paper should be ftped to
    ftp.iis.sinica.edu.tw (140.109.20.229)
    using the account ftp and into the directory
    /isaac00/<your paper id>.<your password>

    Note that <your paper id>.<your password> is distinct for each paper and is provided in the acceptance letter.

    • Your soucre files, e.g., the LaTeX file for the text (with the name main.tex) and the PS or EPS files for the figures.
    • Any style files, templates, and special fonts that you are using.
    • The DVI file of the final version.
    • The PS file of the final version.
    • If possible, a PDF file of the final version.
