• My Vista/Windows7 cannot access the Samba Services(iisntb,ccs1,ccs2) of IIS

• My Vista/Windows7 cannot acquire a valid IP from IIS DHCP Server
  
Please follow these steps:

1. Click Start Collapse , type regedit in the Start Search box, and then click regedit in the Programs list.
2. Locate and then click the following registry subkey: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet
   \Services\Tcpip\Parameters\Interfaces\{GUID}
3. On the Edit menu, point to New, and then click DWORD (32-bit) Value.
4. In the New Value #1 box, type DhcpConnEnableBcastFlagToggle, and then press ENTER.
5. Right-click DhcpConnEnableBcastFlagToggle, and then click Modify.
6. In the Value data box, type 1, and then click OK.
7. Close Registry Editor.

How to download and activate Vista

To download Windows Vista Enterprise purchased by Academia Sinica, please go to \\140.109.20.23\packages\01_Academia_Sinica_Software\Windows_OS\Windows_Vista_Enterprise .
KMS activation mechanism is applied. The mechanism does not require a license key but require to register to the server. Note that the IP for registration must be inside Academia Sinica.
