This paper describes the design and implementation of a generator for Chinese sentences. The generator uses systemic grammar as the explicit representation of the syntax of Chinese sentences. The generative process of systemic grammar is augmented by the mechanism of procedural attachment to make the generator more adaptable to different kinds of input. The generator covers an interesting subset of Chinese sentences.
