In this paper, we propose a method for enhancing the security of Abdalla and Reyzins forward secure signature scheme by introducing a backward-secure detection. In the proposed method, we employed the hash chain technique in the forward-secure signature scheme. With this, we can achieve not only forward security but also backward security for digital signatures.

Keywords: forward-secure, backward-secure, digital signatures, GQ signatures, one-way hash chain
