Applying for Special Issue
We are very interested in collaborating with high quality conferences publishing their selected best papers. But these papers will be treated as regular papers. The old procedure has two fixed dates (April and September) for our AEs to pick “one” conference, which is rather inflexible. Our new procedure is as follows.
1. Since the foci of our journal are determined by the composition of our Associated Editors (AE), please pick five or six AEs most relevant to your conference and email our secretary (Chris Tseng, email@example.com) around 5 best papers in previous conferences. We will ask these AEs to make a decision as soon as possible.
2. In case we reach a publication agreement, please send your selected best papers (the version they submitted for journal review) to our secretary. Our AEs will select those suitable for publication in JISE. But the final review process will be carried out entirely by the conference organizer. It is advised that you may consider collaborating with more than one journal.
3. At the end, all accepted papers will be published in JISE regular issues in their respective fields (with a special mark: a selected result from *** conference). Their publication dates are not necessarily synchronized.
