Jing-Sin Liu received a B.S. in mechanical engineering from National Cheng Kung University in 1984, an M.S. and a Ph.D in robotics and control from National Taiwan University in 1986 and 1990, respectively. Since then he joined the Institute of Information Science as an assistant research fellow. He becomes an associate research fellow in 1994.

        Dr. Liu''s major research interest includes robotics, neural networks, nonlinear control and intelligent control. He is a member of IICM at Taiwan, a senior member of IEEE (Control Systems Society and  Robotics and Automation Society).
