Abstract

There has been a rapid growth in deep learning development at Google. This talk will share some experience in terms of solving Google-scale problems with deep learning. In particular, the topics will cover (1) The infrastructure of the deep learning system (TensorFlow) in Google, and the behavior of the learning process at this level of scale. (2) Recent research findings and application developments in various domain. (3) Lessons learned from solving Google-scale problems. 4) Building deep learning models with TensorFlow.

BIO

Dr. Chung-Cheng Chiu is a software engineer at Google Brain team. He completed his PhD in 2014 with Stacy Marsella at University of Southern California, and has since joined Google Brain team. His research interest ranges from machine learning to building virtual human systems. His recent work at Google focuses on designing neural network algorithms and building distributed computation systems for solving Google-scale problems.
