Abstract

In this talk, we will first review key enabling techniques of today’s software-defined mobile networks. We will discuss some results concerning security and latency analysis in mobile cloud networks, based on two promising network technologies: Network Coding and Network Calculus. Then we will look into the nature of data-driven approaches and introduce to the audience how machine learning can make our networks smarter. Finally, the possible use cases for machine learning in future 5G networks will be discussed.
