TIGP (SNHCC) – Visual Quality Assessment: Past, Present, and Future

摘要
In this talk, we will first give an introduction on visual quality assessment, including image quality assessment (IQA) and video quality assessment (VQA). Then past and present developments in both IQA and VQA will be followed. In addition, the extensive experimental results for state-of-the-art methods conducted on several publicly available and well-known image and video quality databases will be demonstrated and compared. Finally, we will indicate some future trends for visual quality assessment. Moreover, a new IQA database will also be introduced at the end of talk.
