Why the Moonlight is silver

        Long time ago, the Moon was called Sunlike, because her light is gold.

        The animals didn’t like that, because they couldn’t sleep in the sunny light, it’s too hot, and it’s too bright, they could not bear it.

        So the animals went and talked to the Sunlike, to ask her to change her light.

        But Sunlike didn’t want to change her light, she liked her light.

        The angry animals choose the eagle to change her light.  The eagle flew and flew to find something that could change her light.

        At last, the eagle found the fountain of silver, he pulled the silver water to Sunlike, then Sunlike’s light changed to silver, and her name changed to Moon.

My Favorite Foods

        One of my favorite foods is oil rice.  The reason I like it, is because of the taste.  It’s a little bit salty and oily, and I like to eat the food that has more flavors.

        Oil race is made of rice, mushrooms, pork and a little bit salt and soy sauce. (There is something else, but I forgot.)

        Oil rice makes me feel like my home, my country, because it is a traditional food of our country.

        We eat it when someone’s child is born, and when the baby is one month old, the parents will give some oil rice to their family members and friends.

        My other favorite food is congee.  It’s rice that when it is cooked, we add more water, so it’s a watery food.

        I like it because when I don’t add anything to it, it’s still good.

        You can add many things to it like dried meat floss, peanuts, gluten, tuna, salmon, chicken, pork, dried fish floss…etc.

        Congee is very simple to make, you just need some rice and water.  When you cook rice, you add water about 1:3 to rice and cook it until it’s done.

        There are so many foods that I like, but I just wrote two of them, those are traditional foods of our country.  If you have time, you can try them.

The Most Important Person in My Life

        The most important person in my life is my younger sister.  She’s the second funniest person in my family, the funniest is my dad.

        My sister always does funny and silly things.  She makes me get crazy with her.  When she sees or touches fluffy, furry things, she giggles.

        Sometimes, she is very scary, when she just awakes or is unhappy, she can get angry without any reason.  But when my mother comes, she will calm down like nothing is happening,

My sister is the most important person in my life because she’s my sister.

What I Like To Do with My Free Time

        There are many things I like to do with my free time.  The thing I most enjoy is reading.  Reading books is good for writing and there are many interesting stories in the books.  My favorite books are: “The Mad Scientists’ Club,” “The New Adventures of The Mad Scientists’ Club,” “The Big Kerplunk,” “The Magician’s Nephew,” “The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe,” “The Horse and His Boy,” “Prince Caspian,” “The Voyage of Dawn Treader,” “The Silver Chair,” and “The Last Battle”.

        Another thing I like to do is swimming.  Swimming is my favorite sport.  Swimming is good for our bodies, and I love water battling.  Because I so love swimming, once there was a big test, when I did my reviewing, I went to the pool with my sister and father.  I swam about two hours, and I only practiced thirty minutes.  From this, you can see how much I love swimming.

        The third thing I like to do is sleeping.  My mom always says “you always looks like you don’t have enough sleep, but you have already slept for over ten hours.”  I like sleeping, or taking a nap, because if I see my math textbook, I get tired, so I go to bed and sleep until I awake.

        Photographing is the second thing I lie to do most.  Photography is so fun, you can take some interesting pictures anywhere.  I love to find some interesting shots.

        Listening to classic music is my third favorite thing.  Classic music is very pleasant to hear, L love music that are very natural, like “The River Mordal.” That is my most favorite music, because I have been there before.

        There are too many things I like to do, so I will just list my top five things I like to do with my free time.
