Abstract
The Living Analytics Research Center (LARC) was jointly established by Singapore Management University and Carnegie Mellon University in 2011. LARC is funded by Singapore government for S$26M over five years. Located in Singapore, the goal of LARC is to advance research in analysing large scale human generated data for optimizing user experience in content navigation, social networking, product purchases and leisure activities. LARC works very closely with industry partners to study their data as well as to
evaluate research ideas with the end users.
LARC is now recruiting research engineers (with bachelor degree), research fellows (fresh PhD) and scientists
(PhD with experience). The candidates should have strong research and systems skills in data mining,
machine learning, and/or optimization. The expected monthy salaries for these positions are:
- Research engineer: S$3000 to $4500/mth and up to 3 months bonus
- Research fellow: S$5000 to $6000/mth and up to 3 months bonus
- Research scientist: S$6000 to $7000/mth and up to 3 months bonus
