Abstract
Employing collaborative heterogeneous smart objects can often enrich application scenarios and achieve higher performance. This presentation will address our joint-research work on issues for experimentation and real-life deployment of collaborative smart objects with respect to deployment, data collection and post-deployment network monitoring. Other ongoing research activities regarding smart sensing, including the smart gateway and smartphone applications, will also be described.
