Abstract

We have been tackling spoken language processing for medical issues, including automatic diagnosis of mental disease, processing EHRs, and SNS texts. On the other hand, we have been also trying to process legal texts to support court judgements, which include the international competition series for legal information retrieval and entailments (COLIEE) using the Legal Bar examination. I will introduce current achievements of our research projects, discuss differences and potential future integration of these spoken and written language processings.
