摘要
Abstract: Linked Data is a new Term (http://www.w3.org/DesignIssues/LinkedData ) coined up by Tim Berners-Lee, the inventor of HTTP+URI+HTML. The newly created Web ( http://www.w3.org/2009/Talks/0204-ted-tbl/#(13) ), called the Linking Open Data Cloud by the Semantic Web community, consists of multiple databases connected together and it is enlarging in a rapid pace. I'll talk about conceptual stuff. I want to convince you that the Semantic Web is about hard and boring work, just like the HTML Web, and it is not just about research. I'll explain the business motive of the term "Linked Data" as a buzzword. The talk would be conducted in Chinese. Bio: MIT undergraduate who just graduated. I joined W3C/Japan since 4/1. I've been a zealous Semantic Web geek since 2007 when I was writing the first Linked Data browser/editor in the world with Tim Berners-Lee at MIT CSAIL. I am actively promoting the Semantic Web in Taiwan. CV: http://people.csail.mit.edu/kennyluck/CV
